Professor Robert Pratt, President of the ICNA and Professor of Nursing/Director of the Richard Wells Research Centre, Thames Valley University has been made a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) in the Queen's birthday honours 2003.
Professor Pratt receives his honour for services to nurse education.
Professor Pratt's response on learning about his honour was
""I feel really honoured and delighted that the work we all do in infection prevention and control is recognised and valued."
