Does anyone use Chlor-clean in their hospital/Trust? If so, or you are using any other chlorine releasing agent, what alternative do you put into departments with staff who have respiratory problems with chlorine?
Thanks

We use chlor-clean, and don't find this to be problematic even in single rooms. The windows can of course be opened if there is any concern about the smell. The rep came to give an intoductory session when we first started using these, and was very helpful. He said that if fumes or small are a problem, it may be worth checking the dilution is done correctly (if the water used is warm/hot I have heard the smell is intensified)- also check that staff are not adding other cleaning agents or fragrances in a misguided effort to "improve" the smell. The company gave us a poster that shows the dilution and safety measures needed.
