Does anyone have any comments/solution/problems regarding the packaging for chlortip alcohol wipe that is now available through logistics? We noted to the company that staff at ward level complained that they do not know what is in the product and that it says "use for disinfection of ssurfaces" - which makes it appear it is for hard surfaces not for skin. When discussed with company (UHS), they say we are the only Trust with this concern and new packaging will not state what is in the product on individual sachets. Surely for safety at least, not to mention there must be something in MDA (does anyone know), this is not adequate. Any ideas/opinions/feedback of how other Trusts have tackled this (knowing that Trusts will buy cheapest product available)?
