Has any one thought about how we might educate the general public a little more about cough and cold hygiene?
It struck me the other day while sitting on a bus watching people sneezing into their hands then holding arm rests etc that now would be a good time to remind people of the old adage 'cough and sneezes spread diseases - so trap them in your hankerchief'. Even if the flu pandemic never arrives, it is surely a golden opportunity to educate about covering mouths& noses when coughing or sneezing, and , dare i suggest the vile habit of spitting!
