An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated nurse to join the Infection Control Team at Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust, Birmingham.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a commitment to team working who is able to work as part of an established team and be responsible for the prevention, Surveillance, Investigation and control of infection under the direction of the Infection Control Doctor and Lead Infection Control Nurse.
You will have a sound track record in clinical practice, inter-professional working and be able to lead and motivate others. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team are essential.
For the H Grade post a minimum of 2 years experience as a G Grade Infection Control Nurse and an Infection Control qualification is essential.
For the G Grade (Trainee) post you have five years post registration experience and experience in ward/department management would be desirable.
