Help
I have removed the linen service from our Health Centres to reduce the risk of cross-infection and advised couches areto be cleaned and disposable couch roll be used.
A GP in an attached surgery (PCT PEC Chair)is furious and my name is mud, he is asking for my evidence base!!
Any help would really be appreciated as he is unwilling to accept the reduction in risk and microorganisms existing on material logic.

Grief!!! You would have thought that he would be pleased that you were
cutting out an unnecessary cost pressure.
I have had similar issues with GP"s - they seem very attached to certain
practices.......my issue was with the terry towels that hung on the radiator
- they were a little like the kids sports kit - only taken home at the end
of term when it stood up unaided!!!!!
