Can anyone tell me if Microfibre is compatible with NaDC or sodium hypochlorite products.
We are using microfibre in our Trust but in the event of outbreaks have gone back to traditional cleaning, with detergent and Presept.
Can we use disinfectants with microfibre or will it degrade. I know microfibre picks up C Diff spores but it doesnt kill the bacteria.

Does anyone have an answer?

I would need to be devils advocate and ask whether it was relevant to use hypochlorite given that the microfibre cloth has removed the spore from the surface. Would the spores not then be removed or inactivated during the reprocessing?

We have trialled microfibre and at present the use of any chemical with microfibre is not advocated. We are having the debate as above but have come to no firm answer. Any other thoughts anybody?
