Happy new year all, Our physio department are using 'interferential therapy' which is use of electrical impulses to relieve muscle pain following certain procedures. This evolves placing a foam pad on intact skin with a lead wire in it to deliver the impulse. The problem as it stands is that these pads are not single use and cleaning and decontamination is difficult. Has anyone any experience of cleaning and decontaminating foam pads oris there an alternative. Thank you, John

As the pads only come into contact with intact skin they can be washed in neutral detergent and allowed to dry. |
