This topic may have been discussed previously but this topic has been raised again. We currently use Oilatum + and Bactroban for our neonates that are colonised with MRSA. Are there any other trusts out there that use different eradication techniques on neonates?? Any help would be great in this area so that we can 'put this issue to bed finally'
Thanks in advance
Sarah

We use nasal Bactroban and Aquasept diluted 50% (as per manufacturer's guidelines for use on neonates). No skin complications reported in the time we've used it (approx last 5 years).

Hope this helps.
