Some companies are promote superoxygenated water to dentists as a disinfectant to prevent biofilm in irrigation lines etc. Sterilox have a website, try http://www.sterilox.com/UK/dentalUK.html for starters.

Sterilox is used in dentistry to disinfect Dental Unit Water Lines. In almost all dental units there will be a build up of biofilm in the water lines. These biofilms harbour pathogens (Legionella is a common example) which are then distributed to the patient via the water and dental staff via the aerosol. Sterilox added to the water reservoir completely removes this possibility. I will forward published references in a further response. Charles Cocking Sterilox Technologies
