I am trying to find out which trusts and is it only certain areas within trusts that use safer cannulation equipment.
Many thanks

We have just moved over to BBraun safety cannula after a successful trial. We have excluded areas such as paeds, but we would like to ensure that all areas of the trust are covered. And we saved money which means we can spend the savings reviewing IV dressings and also look into using a bespoke cannula insertion / blood culture taking pack. |

I would be interested in finding out more about the blood culture taking pack you have mentioned as we are currently looking at our blood culture sampling techniques. I would be very grateful if you could e-mail any information/guidelines that you would be willing to share, to my work e-mail as below.
With much appreciation
