Dear All
I have heard of what appears to be a rather odd practice at an independent healthcare provider. They as part of routine MRSA screening take swabs from the wrists of patients. I have never heard of this practice before and can find no reference of it in the latest guidance. Does anybody do this as part of routine screening and if so what evidence is their to support it?
Cheers
