I am currently looking to standardise peripheral cannula dressings. If anyone has done the same would you share your experience? What infuenced your decision, I am looking at 2 products that meet the recommended standard.

I'd look for a transparent film on the basis that people are more likely to check site condition if it's easy (also patients can be encouraged to check their own site), a high permeability to water vapour is also important as some films are meant for wound care and encourage a moist wound healing environment but in this case you're not trying to heal, just provide secure fixation and protection. Also, check out the support available from the manufacturer.
