Hi,
Wonder if anyone can help me? I have been asked to map out the decision process for screening patients and staff for MRSA. Does anyone already have any kind of decision tree in place? If so would it be possible to get a copy?
Thanks

It's unlikely that it would be possible to produce a generic tree as the decisons would be too heavily influenced by local factors in addition to the guidance, e.g., number of side rooms available, burden of readmission from the community, other local need for isolation for things like TB etc. I often find that my decisions are based on so many factors that it would be impossible to produce a written set of guidance that would allow the organisation to function.
