That really depends on the type of healthcare setting and the health of the other person('healthy patient' sounds a contradiction in terms - i.e. if they are healthy, why are they a pt). It also deptends what you mean by 'a past history'. Has the patient been successfully treated? Are they still colonised? How long ago were they +ve etc etc.
There's no simple answer.
