Hello everyone, we are in the process of puting together core care plans for some conditions such as diarrhoea, MRSA, isolation, C. diff etc. The Trust does not currently use standardised care plans. Does anyone have care plans they could share with me? Any advice re good and bad aspects welcome.

I've a care plan for MRSA which has been working pretty well so far, but it's only for a community hospital. Be glad to share, provided I get feedback on how it can be improved. I'll e-mail it if I can have your address.

I was very interested to read you question on Care plans as this is someting I am trying to set up myself. However I was thinking more in terms of a pathway especially for C.Diff. If you are interested i can send you copies of the literature obatined on Care Pathways that I have.

Old age creeping up, but more than happy to share information and work on something that could be shared country wide as i am also concerned about how long antibiotics are given for without reviewing for C.diff. I think this can be just as damaging as broad spectrums.
