Is anyone planning to change their MRSA policies in light of the new guidance? Screen more, place more on decolonisation, use more systemic antibiotics as recommended in the pharmacy guidelines?

Me too, but in response to the 'challenging' target. Upping screening although we've already run out of side rooms since starting screening all NH patients (29% pos in 1st 2 weeks). All jolly evidence-based and all that..
Did a proposed trajectory last week and was asked to revise it downwards (from 1 a month) by the SHA today. Shame really as I was planning on having two in November...
