I haven't got the documents at hand to check, but I'm sure the spacing is in HBN 21 Maternity and may be in the HBN 23 Children, that was revised in 2005.
I'm no longer in the acute trust, but will contact one of my colleagues as we were involved in the proposed refurbishment of the NICU.
Also, there was a hospital in Cumbria that won a design award for their maternity hospital which included special care in 2004. It will come back to me!
