Hi,

Does anyone have or know of any guidelines regarding the wearing of goggles when preforming cannulation?
We have had a few blood splash incidents to eyes in our A+E and staff where not wearing goggles or visors. We have advised that they should wear them when dealing with trauma cases and when cannulating and taking blood.

What do you all think out there?
