The latest surveillance data for bacteraemias in Welsh hospital patients are now available for every NHS trust in Wales.
The data on bacteraemia rates have been collated and published by the Welsh Healthcare Associated Infections Programme (WHAIP) team, a part of the NPHS on behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government. This is the third top ten table published for each Trust and covers the period 01/01/2006-31/12/2006. This surveillance data provides information about the burden of serious managed by NHS Trusts in Wales currently. An �All Wales� top ten has also been compiled and a commentary about the results provided.
