THE INFECTION CONTROL NURSES ASSOCIATION (ICNA)

The ICNA works with healthcare colleagues, professional bodies, industry,
government agencies and voluntary organisations to prevent and control infection.
It aims to advance the speciality of infection prevention and control through
education, professional development of its members and research and is at the
forefront of initiatives in hospitals and community settings to prevent and control
existing, re-emerging and new infections.

THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC FORUM ON HOME HYGIENE (IFH)

The IFH is a non-government organisation comprising public health scientists and
healthcare professionals. The mission of IFH is to raise awareness of the
fundamental role that home hygiene plays in preventing infectious disease, and
to develop and promote understanding of good hygiene practice based on current
scientific evidence including food hygiene, general hygiene, personal hygiene
and the care of "at risk" groups.
